Hello!

I'm all about making connections with like-minded people… My hope is to make new friends and feel linked on a larger scale with others committed to making change happen, spreading a bit of joy around, doing our part. 

I've got a more than half-full glass and an open heart.  My life is about fully embracing the “what is” and nurturing “what can be” on this part of my journey.  I feel grateful and want to make each day meaningful. 

By day I'm a Corporate Freedom Fighter - I work in corporate communications, where I do a lot of writing, editing and general problem-solving, and get to spend time with intelligent and motivated people who can be hilarious and know how to enjoy life.  I work in healthcare and I'm continually inspired and moved by my experiences.  The human spirit is amazing.  I'm lucky, I've found a niche where I certainly use many of my best skills and continually feel challenged and rewarded.  Yet it's just a small part of who I am, although sometimes it threatens to use up more than its share of my energy.

My desire to grow as a writer and artist is bubbling away, sometimes threatening to boil over.  I write poetry and stories. I feel I've only tapped into a tiny bit of my potential in this area – which scares and excites me, I must admit.

I'm originally from England, and I miss it but I'm very happy in the Sunshine state!
